University 1 (U1)
Your first year at CUSB will be spent in University 1 (U1), which is designed to help make the transition from high school to university as easy as possible, and provide you with a flexible learning environment to explore the many academic options available at our university. The flexibility of U1 ensures that you will have a range of options when planning your course of study. If you have come to university with a specific program in mind, it is possible to take on a course load tailored to that program, so that you can complete it in the shortest time possible. If you are still deciding between two or more areas of study, you can choose courses which keep your faculty options open in your second year. Or, if you are still searching for an area to focus on, you can select a combination of courses, based on your personal interests.
