Two-Year Program
Do you enjoy working with the public? Tourism is one of North America’s fastest growing industries. In our increasingly leisure-oriented society, the demand for experts in travel and tourism is expected to grow significantly, especially as more people reach retirement age. Designed in cooperation with the Manitoba tourism industry, the two-year Tourism Diploma program provides students with an opportunity to complete a workplace practicum outside the province, or even outside the country. In this program, you will develop a number of important skills including those related to customer service, planning, research, marketing and entrepreneurial initiative.
At the end of their first year, eligible students can apply for a four-month paid co-op work placement.
