The Collège universitaire de Saint-Boniface offers online programs for students who wish to complete their studies entirely over the Internet.
Certificate in Translation
All courses included in the regular Certificate in Translation program are also available online. Obtaining the Certificate is the first step towards becoming a translator. Later, the working languages should be perfected while following new developments in science, technology and literature. The Certificate in Translation, comprising 30 credits, is a minimum requirement to become a translator. It is suitable for those who already have a degree in another field of study, or it would be a good starting point for someone with good general knowledge, provided that they have a good command of French and English. This distance education program has been set up primarily for people who are interested in studying translation while maintaining their current employment, in particular those who work in remote areas and would find it impossible to attend classes at a local university. During each session, you may decide to take only one course at a time, or more, depending on your schedule.
Master’s in Education
The Faculty of Education offers students the possibility of completing, entirely online, a Master’s degree in Education specializing in School Administration.
Master’s in Canadian Studies
The study of Canada fosters a thorough appreciation of the Canadian experience in all its diversity. This interdisciplinary program offers a deeper, multidimensional understanding of Canada and its many regions. The program examines important Canadian issues through a wide range of disciplines such as History, Political Science, Economics, Sociology, Anthropology, Geography, Literature and Native Studies.
Webmaster
The Collège universitaire de Saint-Boniface, in partnership with the Collège communautaire du Nouveau-Brunswick (Dieppe) and La Cité collégiale (Ottawa) offers you the Webmaster program. Webmasters study, design, develop, produce and update Internet and Intranet sites. In this program, you will master the basic principles involved in designing, creating and managing effective, dynamic and interactive website projects. You will also be able to put into practice the skills acquired in programming, networking, ecommerce and security.
