Are you looking for a program that will prepare you for a position in business management and open doors to future advancement?
The Faculty of Business Administration at CUSB offers a carefully structured Bachelor’s Degree program, designed to give you the skills and knowledge base that will allow you to reach your goals. The program trains managers for many types of organizations – everything from small to large sized businesses to government departments and international organizations. One key focus is international and intercultural business, ensuring that our graduates have the competitive edge they will need to succeed in a global marketplace. As a student in the Faculty, you will take courses that cover all major fields of business administration including management, marketing, human resource management, communications, accounting, finance and operational research. The Faculty also allows you to supplement these areas of study with optional courses in a number of complementary areas such as economics and political science. You are also encouraged to learn a third or fourth language, which will better prepare you to work in an international environment. Through this well-rounded education, you will strengthen your ability to think critically, communicate clearly, exercise sound judgment and make effective business decisions.
Choice of Concentrations
CUSB offers concentrations in the following five areas of study:
- Human Resources Management and Industrial Relations
- Management of Organizations
- International Business
- Marketing
- Generalist
This program will prepare you to assume an executive or supervisory position in managing the human, material or financial resources of a company. You can also select from the concentrations offered by the Asper School of Business at the University of Manitoba. Each one emphasizes the importance of the human environment and the international and intercultural aspects of management.
A Foundation for Future Success
As a graduate of the Business Administration program, you will be well-prepared to tackle a wide range of management-related challenges including how to conduct organizational restructuring, how to provide financial analysis or advice, how to start up a business or how to market a product domestically or internationally. In other words, you will have the well-rounded education and versatility sought by many of today’s employers.

Exchange Program
As a student in Business Administration, you can take part in an exchange program and complete up to two semesters at a post-secondary institution in one of the countries listed below. Bursaries of up to $5,000 are available to help students cover costs while abroad.
